WELCOME TO THE FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE

The establishment of the faculty of Agriculture was approved by the Senate of the University of Abuja on 11th October, 2004. The Faculty comprises of the Departments of Agricultural Economics and Extension; Animal Science; Crop Science; Soil Science; Food and Nutrition Science; and Water Resources, Aquaculture and Fisheries. The Faculty has programmes for the award of three degrees, namely Bachelor of Agriculture, Bachelor of Agriculture (Food Science and Nutrition) and Bachelor of Agriculture (Water Resources, Aquaculture and Fisheries). The first set of students was admitted to read Bachealor of Agriculture degree in the 2005/2006 session. Admission into the other two degrees will be done in due course.
