ICT FACILITIES

The University in its quest to promote Information and Communication Technology has taken the bull by the horn in providing necessary infrastructure as well as enabling environment for private sector participation.

Most of the University's activities are automated. A functional LAN distributes necessary data to all the departments. With 512 by 256 band width VSAT, staff have access to the Internet and four VSATs that are dedicated to students activities online. Empowering the staff, the management has provided laptops to all senior staff.

 The Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education is not left out of the ICT infrastructure. The centre is equipped with computers, VSATs. Almost all the activities of the centre are done online.
