Other key Officers of the University include the Director of Academic Planning, Director of Physical Development and Management, Director Centre for Distance Learning and Dean of Student Affairs.

Vice Chancellor

Deputy Vice Chancellor (ADMIN)

Prof. S.Y Ingawa was born on the 12th of July, 1952. He holds the B.A. (Ed) from the Ahmadu Bello University (1976); M.A from Ohio University, U.S.A (1981) and PhD from Ohio University, U.S.A (1984). Prior to his present position as Professor and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Admin), he was the Head of Department of Foundation Arts and Social Science Education, Director CDL&C; Director, Remedial and General Studies. Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics)

REGISTRAR

Mal M.B Modibbo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 1978. Prior to his joining the university of Abuja in 1989, he has served as a lecturer at the College of Preliminar Studies, Yola, and Manager, News and Current Affairs at the Nigeria Television Authority. He has also served the University of Abuja in various capacities. He is married with 5 children.

BURSAR

Mal. A.S Sulaiman, a fellow of the Institute of Chatered Accountants of Nigeria holds a first class degree in Computer Science/Accounting from Ogun State University. He also obtained an MBA from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Prior to his joining the University, he served as bursar in Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye 2000-2005, and Bursar, Tai Solarin College of Education, Ijebu-Ode 1992-2000. He is married with children.

UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN

Dr. Innocent Isa Ekoja obtained his first and higher degrees in Library Science as well as Professional Certificates from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, University of of Ibadan and ATBU Bauchi at various times between 1978 and 2000. He has taught library, information science and general studies courses in various universities. Dr. Eko is also a 2002 award winner of the American Society for Information Science and Technology and has to his credit not fewer than 30 academic publications.

Arc. H.A. Akiyode holds MED(Arch) from University of Lagos in 1978. A fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Architects. He has worked in various private and public sectors at professional and leadership positions covering various aspects of project designs, estimate and construction, involving: civil, mechnical, electrical, building works and campus planning.
