The Faculty of Management Sciences started in the 1990/91 session under the defunct Faculty Management and Social Sciences.  In 1994 the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences was merged with the Faculty Law into the College Law, Management and Social Sciences.  With the change back to the faculty system in 1999, the Faculty of Management Sciences now runs as an autonomous faculty.
